The Manta Ray Bay Hotel is a small, dedicated dive resort with a friendly personal atmosphere, comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities.

The Manta Ray Bay Hotel is situated on the east side of Yap Island and offers accommodation in three room categories, Deluxe Ocean View rooms and suites, Ocean View rooms and Standard rooms all of which have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The hotel has a swimming pool and also a newly built spa, offering a range of beauty treatments and massages.

The operation is owned and managed by Bill Acker and his family, who have lived in Yap for over 30 years and have huge knowledge and experience of the region.

The diving is run by Yap Divers, a PADI Gold Palm Centre which operates a fleet of eight fast modern twin-engine dive boats. There are over fifty dive sites to be found around the island group of Yap, ranging from manta ray dives to coral reef and shark dives.

The Manta Ray Bistro, the island's finest restaurant with a great view of the lagoon, is located on the main deck of the S/V Mnuw, a turn of the century South Seas schooner anchored by the hotel and reached by a gangplank. The cuisine is Asian as well as local and European.

Guests can also enjoy a cold beer fresh from the resort's very own micro-brewery, or a refreshing tropical drink in either the Nautical Weaver Bar, located on the Bridge Deck of the Mnuw, or in the Crow's Nest Bar located on the top deck under the mizzen mast. On the enormous movie screen in the Crow`s Nest Bar, they often show films of Yap`s best diving, guests` own productions or popular movies. What an unforgettable experience!
