Divers spend the day stationed aboard the comfortable day boat which is moored in a prime position for excellent diving. After a day on the water guests are transferred back to the resort to relax in style. The boutique accommodation is made up of 12 comfortably furnished, air-conditioned rooms. The resort has a wonderful restaurant and lounge bar and there is also a spa offering a range of treatments. For photographers there are dedicated camera rooms for cleaning and preparing equipment and there is a digital photo and video centre where courses are offered. Free wireless internet is also available.
Restaurants & Bars
In the Restaurant, chefs prepare delicious à la carte Indonesian and international food using only the freshest of ingredients sourced from the local markets. The restaurant and bar are spacious and attractive areas and in the bar there is satellite TV - a great place to relax and share your dive experiences and images. In addition to the main restaurant, there is a small dining room taking up to five guests and Eco Divers will arrange a private dinner party for you and your friends at no extra cost. Four quiet indoor lounges provide a peaceful spot where guest can choose a book from the library.
Eco Divers Lembeh Resort is a dedicated diving resort and their facilities are mainly geared to the needs of divers. There is a spa offering a range of treatments.
Eco Divers Lembeh is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre offering full range of PADI course, from Open Water to Instructor. Their dive capacity is limited to 16 guests with just four guests to each guide. Nitrox fills are available and less expensive when prebooked. A unique feature of the resort is the operation of the day liveaboard boat, which is well equipped and has a shaded salon with comfy cushioned seating, toilets and showers, and fresh towels. Unlimited free teas, coffees, snacks and fruit are available throughout the day and a delicious hot buffet lunch is served. Other facilities include ample charging points for photographers and outside there is a large sundeck with shaded area and sun beds to relax between dives. Two speed boats with twin jump gates and stainless steel ladders support divers from the day boat. The Lembeh Strait is an extraordinary channel of water just over one mile wide and 13 miles long, with mainland Sulawesi on one side and Lembeh Island on the other. It is a shallow mix of black volcanic sand, mud and shale where nutrient rich waters flow through the channel bringing food for the most amazing array of invertebrate and fish populations. This is not a destination where you will see big pelagics but it is an area where you can spend fascinating hours discovering a truly incredible diversity of macro marine species. At the resort there are four camera rooms with workspaces, a desktop computer and charging points and there is a photo and video centre for camera repairs and video editing.
