Liveaboard At A Glance
Galapagos Aggressor I & II are sister ships and have been granted diving permits issued by the Galapagos National Park since 1994.
These yachts are custom designed and built for comfort, safety and stability and offer a luxury dive operation for scuba divers. Her friendly and helpful crew is very experienced and has a broad knowledge of diving in Galapagos.
Galapagos Aggressor I & II operate a schedule of seven night departures for scuba divers throughout the year departing from San Cristobal every Thursday afternoon.
The identical, purpose built, Galapagos Aggressor I & II offer an excellent standard of service and comfort for a maximum of 16 guests.
Accommodation is in four deluxe cabins on the lower deck and four master cabins on the upper deck. The deluxe cabins have two lower single beds (twin) with three port hole windows while the master cabins have two single beds that can be made into a queen (on request) with a large port window. Each cabin has ensuite shower and WC, hair dryer, TV/DVD, stereo CD player, temperature controls and a safe storage box. On the main deck the dining room and salon provide a spacious and comfortable area to relax.
The large saloon has a bar, TV/DVD stereo player and an assortment of movies and books.
Meals times are sociable and most meals served buffet-style with American-style and local dishes; breads, baked snacks and biscuits come straight from the oven.
On the upper deck there is a large sun deck with a partially shaded area, chaise lounges, deck chairs, wet bar, a grill for delicious barbeques and even a hot tub!
Galapagos Aggressor I & II are designed to support underwater photographers and videographers and have a complete digital photo facility including a PC for downloading photos. Strobe charging stations and large camera tables are available for your camera and video equipment with photo equipment available to rent separately, or as a complete set.
Email is available onboard through the satellite system.
The dive deck covers the aft third of the main deck. There is ample storage space for diving equipment in personal lockers and facilities include rinse tanks, in-place air/nitrox fill station and a large three tier camera table with low pressure hoses.
A maximum of three dives will be made daily; two in the morning and one in the afternoon, after each dive snacks and clean towels will be provided.
All dives are from tenders and all tanks have K-valves (American type), no DIN (European) valves.
Nitrox training and facilities are available alongside a variety of specialty dive courses and a full range of diving equipment is available for rent by prior arrangement.
The waters of the Galapagos Islands are a unique mixture of warm and cold water, ranging between 16-24C and 21-30C and it is recommended that you bring a 5-7mm wetsuit with hood and gloves. This type of diving in the Galapagos can be strenuous and these trips are recommended for intermediate or advanced divers.
Schedule & Itinerary
Galapagos Aggressor I & II operate an eight day schedule throughout the year departing from San Cristobal on Thursday afternoon.
Example Itinerary:- Thursday; afternoon boarding, welcome and orientation dive at Isla Lobos
Friday; morning dive at Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island), afternoon dive Cousins Rock
Saturday; morning and afternoon dive at Wolf
Sunday; morning and afternoon dive at Darwin
Monday; morning dives at Darwin and afternoon dives at Wolf (Alternative Jan-May, Punta Vicente Roca/Isabela Island)
Tuesday; morning and afternoon dives at Punta Vicente Roca (Alternative Jan.-May, Cabo Marshall/Isabela Island)
Wednesday; guests disembark after breakfast to go ashore. A private tour bus will take everyone to see the beautiful highlands of Santa Cruz Island and includes visits to Los Gemelos (two enormous sinkholes), Scalesia Forest, Tortoise Reserve, and Lava Tubes. Board again for lunch, followed by a land based afternoon visit to the town and the Charles Darwin Research Station. Guests will dine ashore at a local restaurant of their choice (the only meal not included in the cruise).
The Galapagos Aggressor I & II depart from Puerto Ayora to San Cristobal at 10pm.
Thursday; after a full breakfast check out.

For trips to the Galapagos Islands we recommend you fly into Guayaquil
There are several flight options connecting via the States or Europe. For travel via the States a generous connection time should be allowed to clear security and customs.
We recommend that you spend a night in Ecuador either side of your Liveaboard trip it’s then a short domestic flight to the Galapagos Islands to board the Galapagos Aggressors.
Early morning departure from the UK travel, via Amsterdam to Guayaquil arriving in the afternoon.
Transfer to Grand Hotel for 1 night
Morning flight to Galapagos Islands and board Aggressor with afternoon check dive
Full dive program of up to 4 dives per day including Darwin & Wolf and night dives where permitted
After breakfast disembark for land tour to see the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island, Los Gemelos, Tortoise Reserve and Lava Tubes. Lunch on-board then disembark for Charles Darwin Research Station and evening meal at a local restaurant of choice (the only meal not included in the cruise).
Disembark Aggressor and transfer for afternoon flight to Guayaquil.
Transfer to Grand Hotel for 1 night
Depart Grand Hotel and transfer back to Guayaquil airport to check-in for your return international flight via Amsterdam
Afternoon arrival to the UK
2 nights Grand Hotel Guayaquil & 7 nights Aggressor from £4211 per person plus £492 departure taxes
Price includes return international flights to Guayaquil from the UK.
In Guayaquil it includes transfers and 2 separate nights' accommodation at the Grand Hotel staying in a twin/double standard room with a bed and breakfast meal plan.
For Aggressor is includes all transfers and 7 nights accommodation sharing a twin/double lower deck cabin, all meals and snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, local beer and wine, full dive program of up to 4 dives per day, night dives where permitted, tanks and weights, services of crew and guides plus land visits.
