The Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and boasts some of the best accommodation and views in Bora Bora. With the backdrop of Mt Otemanu and fringed by unspoilt coral reefs and lagoons this beautifully natural resort offers a truly authentic Polynesian experience.
All accommodations are designed in a traditional Polynesian way using local materials to naturally blend in with the landscape.
There are 80 Bungalows and 10 Suites scattered across the turquise blue waters, white sandy beach and lush tropical gardens, all designed in a Polynesian style with thatched roofs and beautifully designed interiors oozing luxury.
Situated on 17 waterfront acres, there are a range of water based activities to enjoy here including; diving, snorkeling, kayaking, outrigger canoeing and catamaran cruising. The resort also boasts a coral regeneration program to encourage fishlife and coral growth in the lagoon.
After a day of actviity there is no better way of relaxing than by having a massage in the Manea Spa which is located amongst the serenity of the tropical gardens. There are 3 restaurants serving quality international fare and two bars creating incredible cocktails for you to enjoy while taking in the views.

Restaurants & Bars
There are 3 restaurants in resort, all offering something different.
Fare Ambrosia is one of the resort's newest restaurants and specialises in fine Italian cuisine. Choose from a selection of Italian favourites and other dishes with a Polynesian twist. The restaurant is open for dinner only and from May to Mid October.
Tevairoa Restaurant is the resort's main restaurant and enjoys a superb location overlooking the lagoon and Mt Otemanu, specialising in French-Polynesian fare. On some evenings you will get the chance to witness a Polynesian dinner show from the restaurant terrace that showcases traditional dance and song.
The Miki Miki Restaurant is situated by the pool with lagoon and Mt Otemanu views and is open for lunch and drinks
The Manea Spa is located in the lush tropical gardens and there are a wide range of treatments on offer and even a tattoo parlour!
There are 4 massage rooms, 1 double shower, Royal Spa Suite, tattoo room, 2 steam baths, 2 saunas and a fitness centre.
Other activities include island tours, catamaran cruise, water ski-ing, helicopter ride, jet ski-ing, hiking, fishing, parasailing, glass bottom boat, kayaking and shiatsu relaxation.
Topdive operate out of the resort and have a range of daily boat trips to various quality dive sites at 8am and 2pm.
Diving is suitable for all levels here and all equipment is available to hire. Speciality diving includes; shark dives, manta dives, nitrox dives and night dives.
Dive sites include;
Tapu - famous for a coral drop off and regular sightings of lemon sharks, black tip sharks, humphead maori wrass, moray eels and turtles.
Muri Muri - large coral plateau and sandbank full of gardener eels. Grey sharks, jacks, barracudas and turtles are popular visitors here.
Haapiti - shark fest with blacktip and lemon sharks in large numbers.
Teavanui Pass - experience the beautiful sight of blue coral along an ocean wall as well as schools of black and white tip sharks, scads, barracudas, tunas and manta rays.
Toopua - enjoy the colours of the variety of tropical fish along the wall then spend time with eagle rays and sting rays looking for food on the large sand bank.
The Aquarium - ideal for beginners and just like swimming in an aquarium with tropical fish everywhere!
Anau - many rose corals and cleaner fish waiting for mantas
The most direct way to get to French Polynesia is via Los Angeles with Air New Zealand. The flight from London to Papeete takes 21 hours with a 3 and a half hour stop in Los Angeles. Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa is reached by a 50 minute flight from Papeete followed by a 15 minute boat ride.
French Polynesia is an Overseas Collective (Collectivité d’Outre-Mer) of France. If your passport describes you as a British Citizen you will not need a visa to enter French Polynesia. Other British passport holders should check the current entry requirements on the website of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and if necessary confirm with the nearest French Diplomatic mission.
