Yemaya’s main accommodation is on the main deck where she has six twin standard cabins. Two are en-suite with a shower and have bunk style beds. Four cabins have ground level single beds in the shape of an L and share two bathrooms with a shower. All the standard cabins are air conditioned (centrally controlled), have 110v power points and have large picture windows.
There are 2 master cabins on the forward upper deck. They are both very spacious and have a queen size double bed, entertainment centre with TV and DVD player, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, 110v power points and several picture windows. One of the master cabins can be made into a twin.
On the main deck is the comfortable saloon with a flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound stereo. There is an extensive DVD library with board games and guests are invited to bring along their own DVD’s and music.
On the upper deck is the covered dining area and bar and all meals are served as a buffet and are plentiful. The upper deck also has a large sunbathing and relaxation area.
Aft of the main deck is a spacious dive platform with gear and camera storage areas. Kayaks are available on-board for recreational purposes.
At the rear of the main deck is a large dive area, with ample room to kit up and also to prepare camera equipment. There is a wet gear storage area to rinse and hang equipment between dives
All diving takes place from the large fiberglass skiffs and divers are split into two groups of 8 divers, led by experienced divemasters. There is ample space for dive and camera equipment and dry storage for personal items.
A programme of three to four dives a day is usual, with two dives scheduled for the morning (8am and 11am), a third dive after lunch (2.30pm) and night dives (6.30pm) are planned where the itinerary allows. All dives are preceded with a thorough briefing.
The varied itineraries throughout the year ensures that you will experience the best that the Tropical Eastern Pacific Islands have to offer. Malpelo and Cocos Island has huge numbers of hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, giant schools of pelagics, giant manta rays and if you are lucky, whalesharks, humpback and blue whales. Coiba National Park has reefs, islands, deep pinnacles and sea mounts where you will encounter an amazing variety of marine life from whalesharks to ornate sea horses!
