Cocos Island lies some 300 miles south west of Costa Rica and the surrounding waters team with fish, particularly big ones. Hammerheads can be seen schooling in great numbers, marbled rays are common and silky sharks abound. Diving along the rocky coast of this uninhabited island is very exciting and its status as a protected natural reserve means it has retained its pristine environment both above and below the ocean surface.

From the submerged pinnacles of "Dirty Rock" to the seamount of "Alcyon", the hammerhead cleaning stations of Manuelita and the island itself which is covered in lush vegetation with waterfalls cascading down to the sea, Cocos never fails to impress.

The remote Malpelo Island lies 314 miles west of Colombia and is home to large congregations of hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, clusters of free swimming moray eels, white tip sharks, Galapagos sharks and occasionally whalesharks, ragged tooth sharks, humpback whales and blue whales .

Designated as a Colombian Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, and marine protected area only one liveaboard to be at the island at any one time.
