Old Bahama Bay Resort is situated on Grand Bahama Island, just 56 miles east of Palm Beach, Florida and is suited to families, couples and singles. If you are keen on diving or fishing then this is the place for you!
With varying water depths, incredible reef formations and situated in close proximity to the Gulf Stream, The Old Bahama Bay Resort attracts marine lovers from all over the world and has a plethora of under water and shore based activities to keep you entertained. These include; fishing, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, tennis, volleyball, table tennnis, kayaking and sailing amongst other things. Or simply relax by the fantastic 4000ft double-level swimming pool, with soothing massage jets, while looking out of the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas. There is also a spa and massage service if you wear yourself out too much!
Divers can take advantage of the on-site dive centre which takes you out to sharky waters and superb coral reefs or for non divers there is the opportunity to snorkel with dolphins or explore the coral reefs.
This suite based resort has 67 junior suites and 6 two bedroom suites and is situated right on the beach.
Restaurants & Bars
Teaser's Tiki Bar sits between the freshwater swimming pool and the water's edge of the North Beach, ensuring that you are never more than a few steps away from a refreshing tropical drink, light snack, or delicious breakfast and lunch. Teaser's also offers seasonal BBQs with live entertainment and bonfires. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and happy hour.
The Dockside Bar & Grille is the place to eat for in the evenings and overlooks the hotel, marina, Little Bahama Bank and neighbouring Indian Cay.
The resort is well placed to enjoy all manner of activities in the water with fishing, diving, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and paddle boarding.
If you prefer to stay on land then you can take advantage of our bicycle hire, fitness centre, tennis courts, children's playground, board games, cable tv with dvd players and dvd library and picnics on deserted islands.
The Stuart Cove Dive Centre has been running since 1978 and specialises in Tiger Beach Safaris. Now based at the Old Bahama Bay Resort you can choose an array of diving experiences including diving with sharks, shipwrecks, shallow tropical reefs and airplane wrecks. The feature diving has to be the 'Extreme Shark Adventure' where divers engage with the sharks in a free swim followed by a a feeding session and close encounters.
For non divers there is the opportunity to see the underwater delights of the Bahamas by snorkelling across a large number of sites, including ship wrecks and movie sets.
If you'd like an experience like no other then don your own SUB (Scenic Underwater Bubbles) and expore the underwater world on an underwater motorcycle!

Morning departure from the UK for day flight to Freeport (Grand Bahama).
Evening arrival into Freeport then transfer to Old Bahama Resort to stay in Junior Suite for 7 nights.
