Introduction to Reethi Beach Resort
Nestled amidst lush vegetation and shaded by graceful palm trees, Reethi Beach Resort was designed with local architecture to blend in with the natural beauty of the island giving the resort a very eco-friendly feel.

Fringed by a white sandy beach and crystal clear waters, the island - just 600m long and 300m wide - is surrounded by uninhabited islands. Guests have a unique opportunity to discover these islands as they are exclusively held by Reethi Beach Resort. Great dive sites are easily accessible by the dive boats and there is a house reef along one half of the island. Baa Atoll has some superb diving, including the famous Hanifaru Lagoon where large numbers of manta rays and whalesharks can be seen.

Accommodation
There are 34 Reethi Villas, 36 Deluxe Villas and 30 Water Villas on the resort. All villas are spacious and elegantly decorated throughout. They are enhanced by typical architecture of the Maldives, with traditional thatched roofs, yet provide all the comforts of modern life. All villas have a terrace-view over the glittering sea. Rooms are serviced twice daily and towels and bathrobes are supplied along with shampoo and body lotions.
Reethi Villas: ‘Reethi’, in the local language, means 'beautiful' and the rooms on Reethi Beach are designed to complement the beauty of the island. The Reethi Villas, set along the beachfront, have thatched roofs and open-air bathrooms and harmonize with the surrounding environment. All Reethi Villas offer maximum privacy and comfort with air conditioning, ceiling fan, IDD telephones, minibar, satellite television, hair dryer, hot and cold water and individual terrace with sunbeds.

Deluxe Villas: The Deluxe Villas are also located on the beachfront with breath-taking views over the crystal clear lagoon. Deluxe Villas offer all the facilities of the Reethi Villa with additional seperate sitting area, a larger bathroom complete with bathtub, and to the front of the villa a terrace and traditional Maldivian swing.

Water Villas: The Water Villas, made specially for the ocean lovers, are built on stilts over the clear waters of the lagoon. The Water Villas have the same facilities as the Reethi Villas with the addition of Internet access through the television, CD player with a selection of CDs, a bathtub and a private balcony with a tropical ocean view. Every two guest rooms share an additional common sitting area and a fish-viewing hole.

Restaurants & Bars
Reethi Beach has five restaurants and three bars, serving delicate and varied cuisine as buffets or a la carte menus. The Rehendi Restaurant is the main restaurant on Reethi Beach serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as sumptuous buffets of eastern and western cuisine, with a different theme each night. Special diets, including meals for Vegetarian and Diabetes clients, are catered for.
Open four evenings per week is the Reethi Grill; an open-air restaurant offering guests the chance to dine under a canopy of stars, while chefs prepare the freshest seafoods and grills. Reethi Grill offers different theme evenings from Seafood barbecues to Mongolian nights and to the simple mixed barbecues for the meat lovers.

For guests wishing to try more of the local cuisine there is the Dhivehi Restaurant, the first restaurant in Maldives that caters only Maldivian Dishes with occasional local music. The Dhivehi Restaurant has seating inside in the comfort of air-conditioning, or outside in the shades of the palms.

Built on stilts over the clear lagoon is the Coffee Shop / Moodhu Bar, a 24 hour coffee shop cooled by the tropical breeze and offering a choice of light meals, cool drinks and a breathtaking views over the sea. The main bar on the island is the Rasgefaanu Bar, open from 9am until the last guest leaves, and it is divided into three sections; an open-air deck, a semi-closed area and a games room. The bar offers a wide range of cocktails and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The games room has a pool table and table tennis, and a selection of board games.
Open for the evenings only, the Huvandhumaa Restaurant serves a range of Asian dishes and guests can choose to dine in an air-conditioned section, or outdoors under the stars. By the swimming pool there is the Veyodhoshu Bar, serving a wide range of fruit juices, non alcoholic beverages, ice creams and beers. At the north end of the island, close to the water villas, there is the small Sunset Bar, serving all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and at the south of the island, close to the Deluxe Villas, there is the small Beach Bar.
Excursions & Entertainment
There is a Sports Complex on Reethi Beach, and one of the best in the Maldives. It has two floodlit tennis courts with artificial grass, 2 indoor badminton courts, 2 squash courts, a fully equipped gymnasium and two table tennis tables. There is also an excellent Water Sports Centre on the island offering a range of motorised and non-motorised water sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and kite surfing. Excursions include half or full day trips to uninhabited and local islands, private picnics on deserted islands, snorkel trips to other reefs and fishing trips and sunset cruises.

The Spa: Reethi Beach has the excellent Coconut Spa, offering a range of massages and beauty treatments set within beautiful surroundings. The spa centre has a fabulous sauna room and jacuzzi.
Diving
The diving from Reethi Beach is run by the Sea Explorer Dive Centre. The well-equipped centre offers diving to some fantastic dive sites and a full range of diver training courses are available. During May to November Baa Atoll often delivers superb manta action and, if you are lucky, chance encounters with whalesharks.

Reethi Beach is a fantastic all-round island, offering a good standard of service and facilities and spacious accommodation at a very realistic cost.
Travel Information
If you are travelling through or from the UK we can arrange flights on either award winning Emirates Airlines or Sri Lankan Airlines at very competitive fares. Emirates have a flexible schedule of departures on most days of the week from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow via Dubai. Sri Lankan airlines offer direct flights from Heathrow on certain days of the week and flights via Colombo at other times. If you would like to arrange your own flights, we can quote you a rate for your island accommodation that excludes flights.
