7 days
|
This itinerary will give you 7 days on board and will visit North Male, South Male, Felidhoo and Ari Atolls.
|
PELAGIC ENCOUNTERS Explore some of the central atolls of the Maldives in search of larger pelagics. These trips will visit manta cleaning stations and undertake more channel diving to maximise your ‘big animal’ encounters.
|
Guests will be met at Male airport and transferred to blue Voyager - there are two transfers, one at 12:30pm and another at 4:00pm. If your flight arrival time means that you have a few hours to wait for a transfer, then ask our Sales Team about 'Day Room' facilities at the Hulhule Hotel.
The diving boat (dhoni) will transfer you from the airport to blue Voyager which will be anchored around 20 minutes away.
The Cruise Directors will give a safety briefing and guests will have the opportunity to settle in. Dinner is usually followed by an early night!
Five full days of wonderful diving, with a typical program of 3 ocean dives a day:-
6:00am - Wake-up call!
TEA/COFFEE & BISCUITS
6:30am - First dive brief
BREAKFAST is served after the first dive
10:30am - Second dive brief (usually between 10:00am and 11:00am)
LUNCH is served after the second dive
2:30pm - Third dive brief (usually between 2:00pm and 3:00pm)
DINNER* is served after the third dive at around 6:30pm
*If there is a planned night dive, the dive brief will be around 6:30pm and dinner will be served afterwards at around 8:00pm.
Night diving can be difficult in the Maldives due to strong currents and navigating the reef system in the dark. Any night diving will be at the discretion of the Cruise Directors and is planned subject to local conditions and diver abilities.
The diving schedule is not set in stone so, for example, if dives are taking places at a shallow manta point, it may be possible to dive 4 times during the day. On a day when the vessel makes a passage across a channel from one atoll to another, there might be 2 day dives plus a night dive. The aim is to give you the best diving for the season and the given conditions.
One or two dives are offered this morning and then guests relax on board while the boat cruises back to Male.
Note: If guests need to disembark today, they can be transferred to the airport any time from 5pm for their flight or onward connection - please ask our sales team.
A light breakfast is served this morning and guests are transferred back to the airport at around 08:00am to catch their international flight home or onward transfer.
If your flight is leaving later in the day then the Hulhule Hotel, which is just 5 minutes from the departure terminal, offers various "Day Packages" - see our resort section for details.
If you are travelling back to the UK, your flight will usually arrive home in the same evening (same day).

Guests will be met at Male airport and transfered to blue Voyager - there are two transfers, one at 12:30pm and another at 4:00pm.
Eight full days of wonderful diving, with a typical program of 3 ocean dives a day:-
06:00 - Wake-up call!
TEA/COFFEE & BISCUITS
06:30 - First dive brief
BREAKFAST is served after the first dive
10:30 - Second dive brief (usually between 10am and 11am)
LUNCH is served after the second dive
2:30 - Third dive brief (usually between 2pm and 3pm)
DINNER* is served after the third dive at around 6:30pm
*If there is a planned night dive, the dive brief will be around 6:30pm and dinner will be served afterwards at around 8pm
Night diving can be difficult in the Maldives due to strong currents and navigating the reef system in the dark. Any night diving will be at the discretion of the Cruise Directors and is planned subject to local conditions and diver abilities.
The diving schedule is not set in stone so, for example, if we are diving a shallow manta point, we may dive 4 times during the day. On a day when we have to make a passage across a channel from one atoll to another, we might make 2 day dives plus a night dive. Our aim is to give you the best diving for the season and the given conditions.
One dive is offered this morning and then guests relax on board, observing the 24 hour no dive/fly rule.
After breakfast guests transfer back to the airport for the domestic flight back to Male and connect with their international flights home or onward transfer.
If your flight is leaving later in the day then the Hulhule Hotel, which is just 5 minutes from the departure terminal, offers various "Day Packages" - see our resort section for details.
If you are travelling back to the UK, your flight will usually arrive home in the same evening (same day).

One or two dives are offered this morning and then guests relax on board, observing the 24 hour no dive/fly rule.
Note: If you need to disembark today, you can be transferred to the airport any time from 5pm for your flight or onward connection - please ask our Sales Team.
