MY blue Voyager is a spacious 37m steel hulled vessel offering a good, comfortable standard of accommodation for 26 guests.  A modern vessel, fully refurbished in 2015 prior to her arrival in the Maldives, she has 3 double cabins and 10 twin cabins – all en-suite and air-conditioned.  MY blue Voyager is a stable, fast vessel with good facilities including a sky lounge, outdoor dining area at the back of the boat, a bar and a jacuzzi!

Diving takes place from a separate dive dhoni, with guests split into two groups, there are never too many divers entering the water at any one time.  With smaller group sizes, the dive guides can give a more personal service and give you a great underwater experience.

MY blue Voyager is managed by a highly professional Cruise Director, Anke Westerlaken, who is a fully trained PADI and SSI Instructor and has many years of liveaboard experience behind her. She will guide and coordinate the dive planning and ensure that the standards of your holiday are maintained in every way.

MY blue Voyager accommodates 26 guests in 13 en-suite, manual air-conditioned cabins (3 double cabins, 10 twin cabins).  All cabins have a flat-screen TV with a hard drive loaded with movies.  The plug sockets are the same as the UK, with some also designed to take European 2 pin.  A limited number of adaptors are available.

There is an outdoor lounge at the back of the boat where guests can relax with a drink and, at night, mantas are often attracted by the large underwater flood lights – watching these graceful creatures in the dark is quite magical!  At the front of the boat on the upper deck is a jacuzzi – so just picture yourselves with a cold drink overlooking the beautiful islands and watching a stunning Maldivian sunset!

Meals are served in the outside dining area at the back of the boat, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the amazing scenery of the Maldives.  When conditions allow, the crew organise a BBQ on a deserted island - great fun!  MY blue Voyager is licenced to sell alcohol and the bar is stocked with beer, wines and spirits.  Tea/coffee and bottled drinking water are included in your package.

The Sky Lounge has a 65 inch tv with a hardrive full of movies and documentaries and guests have direct access to this through tablets and smartphones. There is also a small library with a number of fish identification books, dive books and some general reading.  Complimentary WiFi is available (if guests need more than 4GB then a SIM can be purchased at Male airport on arrival).

There is an area for charging cameras onboard as well as a camera platform on the dhoni for keen photographers.

Nitrox is available at an additional charge (rebreathers and technical divers are not catered for).

Dive Support Vessel

Experienced dive guides mean you see more fish on holiday with Scuba Tours Worldwide
Dive guides know where to find manta cleaning stations

To dive safely and to reach the best dive points in and around the narrow channels and shallow reefs, you need a special type of boat adapted to these local conditions.

The dive support vessel, known locally as a dhoni, comfortably accommodates the divers who each have their own storage bin. Equipment is assembled and remains in place on the dive boat making this really easy, comfortable diving.  Cylinders are filled on board and nitrox 30 is available at additional cost.

At the end of the dive, it's easy to pull yourself up the stable ladder back on board. Crew are attentive at all times helping with equipment and precious camera gear.
